Roy Morquecho Rocha was surrounded by his loving family when he departed this life on October 10, 2016. He was born on November 14, 1955 in Baytown, Texas. Roy graduated from Baytown Sterling High School in 1975. He was married to Rosie Perez for 23 years and had three wonderful children, Angela Marie Gonzalez, Roy P. Rocha, and Christopher James Rocha. Roy started working for Fisher/Emerson on August 19, 1976 and just celebrated 40 years in August. Roy was a Dallas Cowboys fan since they were establish back in the 1960's. He enjoyed his annual...

Roy Morquecho Rocha was surrounded by his loving family when he departed this life on October 10, 2016. He was born on November 14, 1955 in Baytown, Texas. Roy graduated from Baytown Sterling High School in 1975. He was married to Rosie Perez for 23 years and had three wonderful children, Angela Marie Gonzalez, Roy P. Rocha, and Christopher James Rocha. Roy started working for Fisher/Emerson on August 19, 1976 and just celebrated 40 years in August. Roy was a Dallas Cowboys fan since they were establish back in the 1960's. He enjoyed his annual family tradition to the Dallas Thanksgiving game. Roy loved spoiling and spending time with his four beautiful grand-daughters, Victoria, Genesis, Lacie, and Leticia. All four of those girls had their "Popo" wrapped around their little fingers. When he did have some free time, Roy enjoyed working on his projects at home.
He proceeded in death by his parents, Ruben G and Maria Luisa Rocha. He survived by his children Angela Gonzalez and husband Oscar, Roy Rocha, Christopher Rocha and wife Erica. His grand-daughters Victoria, Genesis, Lacie, and Leticia. His brothers and sisters, Maria, Rosye, Yolanda, Ruben, Teresa, Gerado, Bobby and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at Earthman Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at7:00pm. A Catholic mass will be Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10:30am at Our Lady Guadalupe in Baytown, Texas. Interment will follow at Sterling White Cemetery, Highlands, TX.
Honoring their uncle as pallbearers will be Nicolas Martinez, Frank Portales, Mario and Leo Gonzalez, Joe and Michael Fraga. Honorary pallbearers will be Pedro Salas, Matthew Fraga, John and Jesus Salas, Stacio and Randall Rocha.
